Key Objective:

As a Senior System Administrator, the candidate will oversee the company’s Computing, Networking, and Power Management infrastructure. He should be current about existing and upcoming technologies in these areas, select and recommend suitable solutions with appropriate technology strategies and responsible for implementing it. The ideal candidate will have the required technical knowledge and a keen interest in adapting and implementing the industry’s best practices for operations and crisis management.

• Designing and implementing infrastructure required for current needs.
• Running regular checks on network and data security.
• Identifying and acting on opportunities to improve and update software and systems.
• Developing and implementing IT policy and best practice guides for the organisation.
• Understanding the requirements, suggesting, and implementing suitable ITS solutions for various departments and projects
• Designing training programs and workshops for staff for new/ upgraded technologies.
• Conducting regular system audits.
• Running and sharing regular operation system reports with senior staff.
• Overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages.
• Managing and reporting on the allocation of IT budget.
• Managing, mentoring, and providing direction for IT team members.
• Identifying opportunities for team training and skills advancement.
  Developing relationships with external clients and organisations to assess their technology, support, and security needs.

Skills Required:

• Networking including Windows / Linux servers Desktop and Laptop clients
• Implementing Configuration Management and Project management software
• Implementing cloud-based architecture/infrastructures.
• Specific skills in Azure administration, for implementing and managing Azure infrastructure for the company and the clients.
• Hands-on experience on Data Security , Data Privacy , Cyber Security.
• Controlling software licenses used in the company in line with the licensing requirements.
• Management of computing assets, hardware and software, mobile devices and BYOD situations
• Networking and implementing OS including Windows and Linux servers Desktop and Laptop, Mac OS, etc.
• Specific skills in Azure administration, for implementing and managing Azure infrastructure for the company and the clients.
• Domain administration/ VPN, Routing and switching protocols.
• SVN, Git-Hub and storage technologies
• Knowledge of O365, Zoho, etc.
• Firewall and Controlling software licenses used in the company in line with the licensing requirements.
